Preschool teacher overcomes rare heart condition to continue life in the classroom
After an emergency surgery, MECC’s Crystal Davis learned more about Marfan Syndrome when doctors told her about a near fatal aortic dissection. After receiving another preventive surgery this winter, Davis is back in the classroom with a new outlook on her role as an early childhood educator.
