Aviation enthusiast becomes certified pilot before graduation

Maize South senior Gauge Guinn has spent the past four years working towards earning a pilots license. The hard work has paid off, as Guinn is now wracking up flight time and working towards becoming a commercial pilot as a possible career path.

Hailey Blurton

Senior, Hailey Blurton has been a part of OneMaize Media since her freshman year and has been Co-Editor-In-Chief for the past two years. Blurton has taken part in the creation of sports hype videos, KSPA state entries, weddings, and much more. Blurton hopes to continue Media as she goes to college.

Lauryn O’Brien

Sophomore, Lauryn O’Brien has been involved in media since 7th grade and is in her 1st Semester of OneMaize Media. O’Brien has created content as in “Explorin’ with Emma and Lauryn”. Lauryn hopes to continue to engage in new career opportunities within the field of broadcast journalism. She’s also involved in STUCO, Student ambassadors, and is a Flygirl on the Maize High dance team
