The Sedgwick country firefighters came to the Maize Early Childhood Center on Thursday
as a fun event for the kids. The firefighters told all the kids about their jobs and the cool equipment they have on their trucks.
Students were excited to see the firefighters and do something different from their normal day. There were lots of questions from the kids about the firefights and how their truck works.
The firefighters lifted each kid up into the firetruck one by one to let them look around the inside of the firetruck. Every kid got the opportunity to see the big trucks and learn.
When asked, all the firefighters said they love coming to see the kids and it is a highlight of their day.
