Students enrolled in the Fire Science class at the Maize Career Academy experienced field training at Hutchinson Community College on October 1. The first of two essential training days, students endured rigorous training exercises designed to teach and instill life saving tips and tricks for these future firefighters.
Students will return to the community college later this month for their final field training day, their training specifically focused on fighting fires.
