VIDEO: Paper airplanes go from nuisance to knowledge
In a district wide S.T.E.A.M. initiative, students are learning aerodynamics as well as the scientific method of experimentation and data collection through paper airplanes
Jamie Borchers is a freshman at Maize High and is a journalist for the OneMaize Show. This is her 3rd semester in the Broadcasting world and she is very excited to be working with everyone. She is involved in BPA, French, and Drama Club. Jamie is one of the Assistant Stage Managers for Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief the Musical. She also is already thinking about going to the University of Lincoln Nebraska to further her journalism career.
Katy Gilbert, a freshman, is in her first year with OneMaize Media. She’s a part of the Maize High girls' basketball team and has aspirations to one day become a sports broadcaster.
Kyah McCreary, a freshman, is here for her 3rd semester in broadcasting, but first with OneMaize Media. She is excited to work as a videographer on staff. She loves to be around family and friends and she is very family and friend oriented. Kyah doesn’t have any college plans yet but she wants to major in criminal justice and become a lawyer later in life.
