The Student Council officers for the 2014-15 school year were announced March 26. During the week of voting, each candidate was asked to give a speech in front of their class about what they plan to do once they get elected. Students voted for their top pick and the following week StuCo students and sponsors voted.
Senior class: Dylan Jones, president; Reid Abbott, vice president; Riley Nevins, secretary; Riley Jay, treasurer.
Junior class: Vani Balram, president; Maddy Levey, vice president; Breanne Smith, secretary; Nayeli Cano, treasurer.
Sophomore class: Kendra Cunningham, president; Jacey Handy, vice president; Taylor Johnson, secretary; Emma Hahn, treasurer.
“I plan to raise participation at school events and get feedback from students to see how StuCo can improve,” senior class president Dylan Jones said.
