Video: Vermillion students explore the heart at MCA
As the Vermillion fourth graders take on their unit over figurative and literal hearts, they have the opportunity to explore related future career paths at the Maize Career Academy. While at the MCA, they visit the culinary rooms along with the anatomy labs.
Senior Stahley Sears is here for her sixth semester as a videographer on staff. She is heavily involved in her church, and absolutely loves spending time with her friends. She has big dreams to chase while attending K-State for her college career. Stahley plans on majoring in Media Journalism, and wants to become a broadcasting teacher later in life.
Senior Haley Barnard is a videographer in her second year with Converged Media. She loves traveling, eating, spending money, and playing Just Dance. Haley plans on attending Utah State University for business and interior design and obtaining her real estate license.
Senior Sydney Lampkin is currently in her fourth year on staff as a broadcast videographer. Lampkin enjoys sarcasm as a way to communicate. She also loves her church family, and traveling is her passion. After high school, Sydney hopes to pursue a career in Education at Oklahoma Baptist University and then teach English overseas.
