It’s that time of year again: prom season. Students are eagerly waiting to take part in this high school tradition. If you’re unsure about the theme, location, time, or ticket cost, here’s all you need to know about prom this year.

The theme is Candlelit Woods, which was described as a beautiful fantasy complete with candles and tree branches displayed all over the venue. Prom will be held at the Exhibition Hall in Century II on April 9th from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m.

Tickets will be sold during lunch for $25 from March 27 to April 2. The prices rise to 30 dollars the second week of sales from April 4 to the 8.

StuCo Junior Vice President Jacey Handy, wants to encourage everyone to come so they don’t miss out on this great opportunity.

“Prom is a wonderful memory,” Handy said. “It’s one of the most wonderful things that happen in your time in high school, and it’s a time to have fun with your friends and feel all pretty, or for boys handsome, and just have a great time.”
