South’s varsity boys’ basketball team played and lost to Wichita Collegiate on Dec. 13, 43-64. The boys reviewed how they played and realized their mistakes.
“I think we played well overall, and we got a little sloppy at times, and we need to work on our rebounds,” Eric Dinkel, 12, said.
With the revisions they know need to be made in mind, the boys have gone straight back to practice for the Dec. 16 game against Wellington.
“I am pumped,” Tyler Bauer, 12, said. “We are going to play Wellington at home, and I am confident we are going to get a win. We just have to go out and play hard.”
The varsity game against Wellington on Dec. 16 starts at 7:30 p.m.
