Seniors Katy Tucker and Jet Warren are one of the five Homecoming candidates for the 2016 homecoming dance.

Warren is involved in National Honors Society, National Art Honors Society and Chemistry Club. His fellow candidate Tucker is involved in Teens as Teachers, Spanish Club, Show Choir, and National Honors Society.

One thing he likes about Tucker is her singing.

“She sings like an angel and that’s really awesome,” Warren said.

Tucker has always wanted to be homecoming queen because of her sister.

“Well my sister was homecoming queen 7 years ago at Maize High so I think it would be fun to take after her,” Tucker said.

Once high school is over Warren plans on attending college to further his love for art. Someday he would like to create his own comic or animation to spread his love with people all around. Tucker also plans on going to college at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa Oklahoma.

The last thing that they would both like to say to all the students before they vote is to vote for who you want.

“Vote for who you want, not what other people make you.” Tucker and Warren said.
