Seniors Kaylea Stuart and Kyler Helm are one of the five couples nominated as the 2016 spring homecoming king and queen.

Helm is involved in baseball, football, red rage and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. His favorite food is crab and his dream job is anything that will make him lots of money. His inspiration comes from his parents.

“They are always there for me,” Helm said. “They put a roof over my head and food on my table.”

Stuart is active in participating in school events and is a part of Select Women’s choir. Stuart also says she strongly believes in aliens.

“I just think it’s kind of ignorant to think we’re the only living thing in the whole galaxy,” Stuart said.

Her inspiration is Christina Aguilera and her favorite food is cappuccino chocolate chunk ice cream.

“I think students should vote for me because I really love Maize High and I love my peers and I just think I’d make a good candidate,” Stuart said.
