Emotional relationships are hard to sever. After making a hard decision, Suzanne McKaig decided to step down as the KAY Club sponsor for the 2015-16 school year due to personal reasons.

KAY Club stands for Kansas Association of Youth. As a club, they partake in events such as Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF and raise money for the Leukemia foundation.

“I had to give up something I really enjoyed doing” McKaig said.

McKaig originally got involved with KAY’s because she was president of her high school’s KAY Club.

The new sponsor for KAY Club is journalism teacher, Dan Loving.
