On Friday the Eagles traveled to KU to play Shawnee Mission East, followed by another game against Ozark, Mo.
Senior Connor Lungwitz had a stellar game, pitching up to 89 mph and allowing three hits. Despite Lungwitz’s efforts, the Eagles still fell short 1-0.
Hungry for a win, the Eagles then faced Ozark. Snatching an early lead in the third inning 3-0, the Eagles never let up. At bat, sophomore Hunter LaMunyon had three hits and a RBI.
The Eagles will travel to play Salina Central Tuesday.
