Girls soccer beats Newton 5-1 at home last night, April 21.
“They just kind of froze up,” junior Ashley Zane said. “They didn’t know what to do with our pressure and speed.”
The girls will take on Shawnee Missions East this Friday at Shawnee.
“I think it’s going to be pretty hard cause they won state last year, 5A.” Zane said, “It will be tough but I think we can handle them.”
