Next Monday Mark Goldblatt, author of Twerp and Finding the Worm, will being visiting Maize. As a welcome, head librarian Marlene Meckenstock put together a poster contest.
“It’s an opportunity to have their work displayed to the author,” Mechenstock said. “Nobody has really illustrated his work.”
All the poster are due this Wednesday in the library. The posters will need to be about an event in his one of his stories. It will then be judged on appearance, a summary, images, quotes and creativity. The winners of the contest will have their posters on display for Goldblatt.
“I imagine theres lots of people that will come up with some great things,” Meckenstock said.
