Maize girls varsity stomps out Newton

P2221838 — Girls return to AVCTL play with a dominate win over Newton.

The Lady Eagles soared over the Newton Railers Tues. night with a 56-38 victory at Newton.

Sophomore Taylor Holmes spearheaded the Lady Eagles’ offense with 16 points and three rebounds. Seniors Keiryn Swenson and Daley Handy contributed a combined 22 points and eight rebounds.

Now with a 15-0 record, the Lady Eagles will compete again on Feb. 6 at home against Hutchinson.
