The Lady Eagles defeated the Andover Central Jaguars on Jan. 23 with a final score of 60-42.
The number one 6A team moved to a 10-0 standing with a legit contingency for the state title championship game. Senior Keiryn Swenson led the team with 23 points and nine rebounds. Other key players include senior Saige Baalman with nine points and sophomore Brianna Johnson with seven points and three assists.
The girls varsity team will be playing in a weekend tournament at Emporia High School starting on Jan. 29.
