The first competitive Wichita show choir, Flight, is showing off their competition pieces for the first time on Sun. at 3 p.m. They will be singing and dancing to four songs, each a different genre such as hip-hop and a ballad.
After once a week practices since September, the choir feels confident in their performance and are ready to compete.
“I feel prepared because we’ve run the choreography a lot,” senior Matthew Prater said.
The group’s first competition is on Jan. 17.
“Our group for the first year is on a really good track,” freshman Alanis Balza said.
