The Eagles suffered a tough loss Oct. 17 to Bishop Carroll 69-7.
Bishop Carroll started out the game scoring 20 points in the first quarter.
From there the Golden Eagles didn’t stop, scoring an additional 49 points.
The Eagles scored the final touchdown of the game on a nine yard pass from senior quarterback Connor Lungwitz to senior wide receiver Alex Lee.
“Anytime you lose a game like that you have to reevaluate the way you’re doing things,” head coach Gary Guzman said. “When we go back to practice this week we’ll have to work on correcting a lot of things.”
The Eagles next game is at 7 p.m. Oct. 24 at home against Valley Center. The game is also the Eagles homecoming and senior night.
