FFA will be hosting a kickoff party tonight to let more people know about the club and possibly join in future years. The party will be from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the library parking lot.
Any student, friend, or family member can attend. There is no cost and you do not have to sign up to come. Donations will be accepted to help out the FFA club. There will be a local school band, a petting zoo which will include a llama and goats; there will also be a horse judging competition, food and games.
“I joined FFA because I wanted to be something that I’m not,” senior Cody VanDeusen said. “I used to be quiet kid, so I wanted to be out there. Now I can talk to anyone.”
