The Eagles were runner-up Oct. 8 at the Maize triangular against Derby and Newton.
The Eagles beat Newton in both sets.
“We came out good against Newton,” senior Saige Baalman said. “We beat Derby the first set just like how we’re suppose to.”
They then won the first set against Derby, and having a tough second set as they lost 25-23. They then went on to lose the third set 25-19.
The Eagles will next be in action at 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 18 at Emporia.
