Maize defeated Haysville-Campus Friday night 39-20.
Campus went out strong, getting an early field goal three minutes into the game; however, that was the only time in the game Campus had the lead.
Maize answered back with a touchdown from senior Gabe Chavez around five minutes into the first quarter.
The Eagles got six more touchdowns following that with little resistance from Campus.
Campus got a late touchdown with ten seconds left in the game, but it was not enough to unseat Maize.
The next game will be at 7 p.m. Oct. 3 at home against Hutchinson.
