With only 23 seconds left in the game the Eagles decided to go for a two point conversion to win the game.
Senior running back Gabe Chavez fell just short of the goal line on the conversion as the clock timed out.
“Whenever you lose it’s not a happy time, but at the same time it showed that we could come back from a two touchdown deficit and come together as a team,” senior running back Jordan Guerrero said.
The Eagles next game will be at 7 p.m. Sept. 26 away at Haysville-Campus.
