Students are now able to have a say in what the new Maize T-shirts will look like.
Senior Kassidy Watkins, who works at Spirit Central, came up with the idea to have Maize students compete in a chance to create a T-shirt design and to have the opportunity, to have it sold in the school store.
“We’ve just been trying to think of T-shirts to design, and we’ve kinda used all of our ideas. So I thought it would be fun if we could get students involved and get new design ideas for the store, as well,” Watkins said.
Any student here at Maize can participate, regardless of what grade they are in.
“All the students have to do is bring in a drawing, or whatever. They don’t even have to make it in a T-Shirt format,” Watkins said.
The contest will end this Friday. All entries must be turned into Penny McAnulty’s room, D18, by the end of the week.
