Boys tennis place fifth over the weekend

This weekend at Valley Center, boys tennis got fifth place at the Wichita Collegiate Invitational.

Sophomore Ethan Pfeifer got third place in #2 singles, freshman Kaden Jobe got sixth in #1 singles, sophomores Justin Marcotte and Matt Freese got 10th in #1 doubles, and seniors Ray Luc and Ben Nguyen got fifth in #2 doubles.

“I need to work on my backhand and I should have beat Valley Center but I didn’t,” Jobe said, “my serving and front hands were good.”

The boys are in action today at the Topeka Invitational.
