Photos: Mavs win finale, earn 5A top seed

Derby couldn’t slow down Maize South as the Mavericks won 3-2 Thursday night. Finishing the regular season as the top seed in 5A, the Mavs will host a regional bracket next week. On Monday, Maize South will face Arkansas City, while looking to face either Emporia or Goddard Eisenhower Thursday night for a Regional Championship.
