No one thinks a squirrel or a raccoon could potentially harm someone, but the police of New York did. They feared the squirrel and raccoon carried rabies and could be dangerous, so the police raided Mark Longo’s home and took the animals. Their names were Peanut and Fred. Mark and his wife came to learn that the animals had been euthanized, and then after they had been euthanized they tested negative for rabies.
