KAY Club is sponsoring a Red Cross blood drive from 8a.m. to 1:45 p.m. March 3 in the small gym.
To donate blood a student must be 16 years old and have a parent’s permission.
The school aims to have 114 donors and collect 50 usable units of blood. If Maize reaches the goal, The Red Cross will give Maize a $250 scholarship to be rewarded to a student.
“Every donation saves up to three lives,” KAY Club representative Susan McKaig said.
