Muslim sophomore celebrates Ramadan, the Muslim holy month
What’s it like having a different set of customs and beliefs than your entire friend group? Noor Alhameedawi faces challenges each day as she celebrates her religion’s holy holiday.
Sophomore Noorulhuda Alhameedawi prays during Ramadan because she believes it’s the key to be closer to God. Her family prays three times a day during mealtime although they fast instead of eating.
