From Sept. 18 to Sept. 22, the South students enjoyed a week of celebration on the road to homecoming through fun costumes during Spirit Week.

The kind of costumes depended on the theme of the day, which was decided by the Student Council, (StuCo). The themes included:

Sept. 19: Toddler Day/Pajama Day

Sept. 19: College Day

Sept. 20: Career Day

Sept. 21: Grandparents Day

Sept. 22: Class Color Day

“I find [Spirit Week] perfectly fine.” Lilian Dolph, 10, said. “I kind of enjoy it because you get to dress up and look ridiculous..I covered myself in paint. [Plus] you get to be goofy.”
