The boys basketball team won their first game of the season against Emporia  56-43.

Senior Jacob Horsch led the Eagles with 15 points, and senior Aaron Shaw scored 14 points.

“It was a great way to start it off, we really found out what we are made of and what we need to improve on.” Shaw said.

Junior Ky-Sean Johnson, a newcomer to the Eagles, contributed to the Eagles victory by scoring 14 points.

The next game for the boys basketball team will be against Andover at 7:30 Tuesday at home.
