During EnCor Nov. 15 officer Andre Parker will be teaching students and staff a self defense class in the wrestling room.
“This course is intended to teach students and staff basic self defense, or rape defense, on how to get away from predators if they ever encountered them,” Parker said. “Students and staff are welcome to sign up. It is for anyone who wants to know how to protect themselves.”
With space being limited students need to sign up as soon as possible in the nurse’s office. There will only be room for ten students or staff members, but if necessary there is a possibility for more classes later on.
