The Eagles defeated Salina South last night for senior night at home. The boys finished in double overtime with a score of 1-0.

Senior Hunter Clark scored the winning goal on a penalty kick. He says it was a very good game.

“It has been our best soccer these past two weeks and it was very exciting,” Clark said.

Clark says the team needs to focus on chemistry and working together while head coach Jay Holmes says he believes his team has really come a long way since the start of the season.

“We started off a little slow,” Holmes said. “We had a tough September but the boys have really jailed in October, I think we’ve won four out of our last five games.”

The boys’ finished their regular season with a record of 7-9.

“I think that we need to work hard

and then we can finish in the final third” Holmes said.

Playoffs for soccer start next week.
