The Eagles remain undefeated 3-0 this season with no points scored against them.

Maize faced Campus away and won 21-0 Friday night.

A player who stood out during the game was junior Camden Jurgensen. He made an incredible 95-yard touchdown in the third quarter that gave Maize a 14-0 lead.

“It was one of the best feelings I have had,” Jurgensen said. “Running through and hearing everyone scream.”

Jurgensen said there were some things to work on despite being undefeated and allowing no points through 12 quarters this season.

“Our defense kept us in the game for the first half,” he said. “Our offense figured it out at halftime. Our defense has been outstanding this year so far, and I hope they keep it going.”

The Eagles led 7-0 at the half. Caden Cox scored the first touchdown. The final score came in the fourth quarter on a pass from Caleb Grill to Jordon Helm.

Jurgensen has high hopes for the future of this season,

“The atmosphere, our fans came out and did their part,” he said. “We are on the right track, we just need to keep pushing.”
