The school store’s slushies seem to be a hit. They so far only sell 6 flavors, blue raspberry, tropical, lemonade, sour apple, cherry and fruit punch. There are more flavors coming soon, but for now these are all they have.

I have to say 2 dollars for a slushy may seem like a lot, but the flavors seems to be paying for themselves. I have tried almost every flavor they have in so far and I have to say this healthy alternative is far from mediocre.

The first one I tried was blue raspberry. It over all was okay for a slushy, but it was not the best. It was a little watered down and not from the ice being melted. Of course, it could’ve been a duller patch then what others had, but it was by far not my favorite. I probably will not be getting this flavor again unless it’s really the only option.

Lemonade was the second one I tried. I personally am a fan. I love lemonade, it’s my favorite drink of all time. Unfortunately, some lemonades are too tart or too sweet. But the slushy was perfectly blended with the right amount of sugar and lemon juice. I loved this slushy a lot and drank it so fast. I regretted my speed a lot too. I wish I had made that one last a little longer.

My overall favorite from the first sip, was tropical. Tropical is like a pina colada partying on my taste buds. The first taste was great, it was a tease and you had to go back for more. Which I did, I got two of these slushies and I don’t even regret it.

Sour apple definitely lives up to it’s name. If you like sour it’s great, but if you don’t, do not waste your money. To me it’s like the apple wasn’t even there in the first place. It was really gross and I cringed as soon as it touched my tongue. The flavor was way over done in this one

Cherry was much like blue raspberry, there was very little flavor. It just tasted like water, with a tiny hint of cherry at the end. I was really let down by the expectations the bright cherry red color and in the end how dull the taste was. I was not impressed by this flavor at all. This one was sad and needed a tune up.

These frozen beverages are a nice way to treat yourself if you’re having a bad day or aced that big test. Though I have not had a chance to try fruit punch, I’ve heard good things about it. Honestly, I would give them all a chance if I were you.
