With inflation increasing product prices and the quality and quantity of them lowering to shrinkflation, many Americans are struggling to make ends meet. The prices for necessities like food, homes, and healthcare have risen by 2.4%. Prices for homes and necessities are leading more people to go into poverty and homelessness. Shrinkflation is the shrinking of the quality, amount, or size of a product you get for the same price it used to be before.
