Softball splits doubleheader against Derby

The softball team secured its first win of the season by defeating Derby 13-10 in the first game of a doubleheader before falling 8-3 in the second game Tuesday night.
It was Derby’s first loss of the season. The Eagles lost their first two games of the season against Bishop Carroll but hadn’t played in nearly two weeks.
The Eagles will be back in action at home for a doubleheader against Campus on Friday beginning at 4 p.m.
