The girls cross country team traveled to Lawrence this weekend placing ninth.
Junior Deidra Walker lead the way taking seventh and senior Sydney Roy taking 24th overall.
The boys team placed 26th overall.
“Individually some of the runners were disappointed, but as a team they did about as well as they could,” coach Skeeter Rankins said.
