Everybody has a story: Tanner Janovsky

February 22, 2016

Editor’s note: This is a series of stories that will spotlight Maize students chosen at random. The idea comes from reporter Steve Hartman’s series formerly broadcast on CBS News

He aspires to be an engineer in his future so that he can build things that people want to see and incorporate into their lives. In order to prepare for this, he takes Steve Stanhope’s Robotics class as an elective.

For Janovsky, the most important thing is making sure others are having a good time alongside him and his friends.

“I like to make people smile because it makes them feel good and makes you feel good, too,” Janovsky said.

Janovsky is heavily involved in clubs at Maize High, his favorite being KAY Club.

“I think KAY Club is my favorite [club] because it’s all about community service,” Janovsky said.

He tries his hardest to make a positive effect on the people he meets on a day to day basis.

“[If I were given 24 hours to live] I’d give away all my money to charity and make sure everyone is having a good time and a happy life,” Janovsky said.
