Scholar’s bowl won the state championship for the first time since 2012.

Senior Scott Hershberger said he was beyond excited for the win.

“I felt absolutely elated,” Hershberger said. “This was something I had been working towards for four years.”

The team had a 40 point lead over Mill Valley, finishing the championship round with 70 points.

“I’ve been so dedicated to scholar’s bowl throughout high school this felt like the culmination of all my efforts,” Hershberger said.
