Eagles lose to Salina Central

After a hard fought game the Maize boys basketball team lost to Salina Central in overtime.

The final score was 57-55. Salina Central finished off the game in the last 5 seconds.

“We played terrible. We just need to work harder everyday in practice and trust each other,” senior Warren Goode said.

Hoping to rebound back from the loss the Eagles will be back in action next Thursday against Wichita Heights at the McPherson Tournament at 6:30.
