Senior Connor Lungwitz will sign to play baseball at Wichita State University tomorrow during En-cor.
Although he was the starting quarterback for three years, his dream is to play baseball at WSU. He began playing tee-ball at the age of four and continued to play for other youth teams. He then started playing in high school.
“I liked baseball better, but when high school came, I got better at football,” Lungwitz said.
He also mentions he likes both sports the same, but also knew that baseball would take him further in life. He committed as soon as the offer was given to him and hasn’t received very many other offers to play baseball due to his early commitment.
“I made a right decision to stay close to home and for the support,” he said.
