Diane Moser’s psychology and sociology students are encouraging others to bring nonperishable food items to room F8 for a food drive.
“Every Thursday they come in and have to bag up the food, and right now, they’re taking it over to the Early Childhood Center,” Moser said.
Some items can include, but are not limited to, canned fruits or vegetables, rice, cereal, apple juice, microwaveable foods, bottled water, baby food, fruit snacks, hamburger helper, etc.
“I’ve been really trying to push the kids to start asking for donations outside of the school,” Moser said. “So we can really make this not just school-wide, but community wide.”
Items can be brought to room F8, any time on Wednesdays.
