The volleyball team went 2-0 to win the triangular at Salina South. They lost one game this season so far, against Bishop Miege.

“There was some things we could improve on,” senior Tyler Downs said. “But we won so that’s good.”

The Eagles defeated Salina South 25-13 then in the second set 25-20.  They also beat Newton 25-21 and then 25-20.

“Hopefully we make it to state,” Downs said. “Get to day two at state, thats the big goal.”

The Eagles will next play at 5 p.m. on Sept. 30 at Salina Central.
