The girls golf team played Sept. 18 at Tex Consolver. The team placed second.
Senior Brittani Casement placed fourth with 44 shots and senior Brooke Johanson placed seventh with 45 shots.
“We played well, being only two strokes away from first,” freshman Bailey Stedman said.
Although they played well Thursday, it didn’t show Monday at Topeka Country Club.
“It was a really hard course,” Stedman said. “But it was good practice for state.”
The next tournament is at 1 p.m. Oct. 1 at Sim Park Golf Course.
