Red Rage is currently selling T-shirts and a sport pass to all students for $10.
Four years ago, what once was a pep club became Red Rage.
“One day a group of teachers came together to have a meeting,” Red Rage advisor Dana Handy said. “We all decided that we needed a cooler name than Pep Club. Someone came up with Red Rage and it stuck.”
This is also the second year that the Red Rage shirt will feature the phrase “The Nest.”
“One of the students started calling our student section The Nest. ‘Protect the Nest’ then came [about] when student Reid Abbott suggested the phrase,” Handy said.
