As a tradition the Senior Advisory Board gives the school a gift each year. This year the Board has chosen to help fund a new sculpted eagle for the front of the school.
The sculpture cost around $2,950.
Last summer, due to a wind storm, the previous eagle sculpture broke.
The new sculpture was made by local artist Bill Bauck.
Crews began to place the sculpture May 9.
“It is a huge steel eagle and the wingspan is about 6 feet,” senior Kyle Baldwin said. “It looks really close to our new logo.”
Baldwin also stated that by next year the sculpture should have landscape around it to make it look better.
