Video News: Maize teacher wins Kansas Master Teacher award
Maize Middle School’s Jessica Buchanan was one of seven teachers across the state recognized as Kansas Master Teachers. With her philosophy in understanding in empathy, combined with her extensive involvement within the Maize community, Buchanan was recognized with an award and a $1,000 scholarship from Emporia State University.
