Video: Career exploration underway for district middle schoolers
Maize South Middle School students learned about the variety of different career pathways within STEM. Taking a trip to the Maize Career Academy, students learned firsthand from educators and pathway completers about their future opportunities.

Senior Katelyn Coffey is in her first year on the One Maize staff. She is also the Head Editor of the Maize High Yearbook. Katelyn has won 2nd place regionally 2 years in a row and won 4th place at the Kansas Scholastic Press Association competition. She loves composing music on her guitar and piano in her free time along with listening to her diverse record and CD collection. Katelyn plans on going into the journalism field after graduation as a sports photographer.
