Video: Students bring story to life, build their own Hooverville
Maize Intermediate students have been reading “Bud, Not Buddy” and learning about life during the great depression. In an effort to tie in their readings with real world situations, the sixth graders were tasked to build their own Hooverville out of cardboard boxes.
